Oxygen
2024

The “Oxygen” project revolves around the concept of the importance of breathing, slowing down, and finding presence in the moment. The paintings embody ethereality and transparency, evoking the lightness of breath and light permeating through space.

Some artworks depict oxygen as a symbol of life and energy, blending dynamic lines and vivid colors to reflect its impact on the surrounding world and human consciousness. Other works explore its molecular structure and connection to nature through abstract geometric forms and elements.

Each painting is a journey from the viewer’s inhale to their exhale.

POWER
2023

A triptych about inner strength, resilience, and the ability to express oneself and channel aggression. Drawing inspiration from graffiti culture, deliberately clean colors provocatively blend to form “gritty” stains. The composition explodes with simple geometric forms and bold strokes made with spray paint.

(Un) touchable
2022

The theme of rebirth will always remain relevant, much like the changing seasons or the emergence of new phases in personal growth. Identity evolves, perfects itself, and adapts to the surrounding environment. The silent echoes of the past, the irrational anthropomorphism of materials, and the liberation from self-censorship are all synonyms for “rebirth” in the works of Veronika Rokashevich.

Love
2020-2022

The abstract painting series “Love” is a visual exploration of the various facets of this powerful emotion. Each painting, created in a unique style and color palette, represents a specific type of love, revealing its essence through the language of form and color.
“Mother’s Love” – portrays the complex relationship between a mother and daughter, filled with emotions; this piece reflects the bright and life-affirming feeling that accompanies us from birth.
“Father’s Love” – centers on the father, with deep blue tones symbolizing calm and strength.
“Love” – expresses the intensity and vividness of this feeling, glowing from within, like the neon ribbon depicted in the painting.

This series is a visual message about the many forms of love, how it shapes our world, and leaves a lasting impression on our hearts.

Corners
2019 – 2021

The “Corners” series intersects with the subconscious circles while simultaneously acting as a counterbalance. Corners reflect all that is uncomfortable and heavy, the burdens one struggles to accept—human flaws. Corners can hold everything people dislike about themselves and try to hide.

The artist, however, brings these “corners” to light, declaring them as part of herself and inviting others to embrace them. This series is partially captured in an art video.

Circles of the Subconscious
2019 – 2021

Reflective abstraction is a way to express subconscious experiences through artistic techniques. This series is based on the artist’s self-reflection of emotional states.

The circular form functions as a portal, offering a glimpse into the artist’s profound experiences and a reflection of one’s own emotional state.

The creation process of some works is captured in art videos, accessible via provided links.

The paintings were created in diverse locations—studios, workshops, and public spaces—to reveal the interaction between contemporary painting and everyday human life, pushing the boundaries of the mundane.
